Behind The Wheel
Behind The Wheel
Once the student has passed their permit test, and the parent class credit has been fulfilled, he/she will be eligible to set up the 12 driving hours and 6 observation hours. During this time we do our best to accommodate around the students busy life and schedule driving hours to fit his or her schedule. The most important part of these driving hours is the time spent by the student practicing with a parent or guardian, we space each lesson out in an efficient manner to allow for what is being taught to resonate and become second nature with lots of practice. Our fleet of vehicles consists of high safety rating sedans, which include a secondary braking system controlled by the instructor in case of an emergency. Each instructor is certified, licensed and CORI/SORI checked by the RMV every year for his/her annual renewal.
Students who live in – or attend high school in Weymouth, Braintree or Hingham are eligible for pick up and drop off for the driving hour portion of the course. We also service Hanover, Rockland and Abington for door-to-door service. Any students who live outside of these towns may choose the closest pick up spot in any of the towns listed above. We have a strict cancelation policy and request that driving hours be canceled 24 hours in advance in order to avoid a $60 charge. Students receive reminders but are also advised to keep a written log of appointments to minimize the chance of missing any lessons.
